QGPod 14 – Pie Smith Ricky Davis

Ricky Davis is better known these days as the man behind Pie Dreams, a company based out of Fremont, California. As one of Anson’s oldest friends, the guys reminisce about their time growing up in the same neighborhood and where his creative interest first started. They touch on his background as both a writer and photographer and how he now finds the balance between family and honing his skills as a Pie Smith. They discuss how the idea for this brand came about, and how it eventually led to a partnership with a name new to the Bay Area, but not the burger world, Shake Shack. This is great story that should inspire everyone to step out of their comfort zone to see what the world has to offer and a little reminder to us all that Pie’s the Limit.
