QGPod 52 – Grammy Winning Engineer Jabari ‘Barz’ Tawiah
Jabari ‘Barz’ Tawiah is a Grammy award winning Engineer & Producer based in Oakland California. His engineering work with fellow Oakland based artist Fantastic Negrito helped garner him notoriety both in the community and in the recording industry. We nerded out on audio for a bit, dabbled in a little bit of history of music production, and talked about the many ways that technology has changed the industry. It is safe to say that all of us listen to and consume some kind of music, so let’s get into this conversation about the creative process that fuels our favorite songs.
